Bespoke Outbuilding Meeting Room
Hinxworth Church in North Hertfordshire approach general builders Gilbert & Gregson Construction Ltd to help construct a new bespoke outbuilding within the Church grounds.
The outbuilding would be used for meetings and community gatherings, so needed refreshment making facilities including drinking water, a large heated space and WC facilities complete with toilet and hand washing.
It was a challenging build due to the restrictive construction methods to make it in keeping with the Church grounds and not make it look like a new outbuilding.
The bespoke outbuilding service Hinxworth, Herts included:
- All groundworks and services including electric, water and waste, connecting to the main
- Bespoke wooden structure using oak beams & oak cladding
- Clay tiled roofing
- Exposed wooden oak interior beams
- Solid wood oak flooring throughout
- Complete fit-out & decoration, including electrics & plumbing
- Kitchenette including cooker & WC with toilet & basin
There was a 16-week programme put in place to complete the bespoke build. We completed on time and within budget, ready for the first planned Church meeting. External groundworks were completed by others.
